Renaissance Star offers three subjects: Star Early Literacy, Star Reading, and Star Math. All Renaissance Star assessments are available in English and Spanish.

Renaissance Star Administration Guidelines
Renaissance Star can be taken as often as needed within the dates of your 6-month subscription. At least once per season is recommended.
2026-2027 Renaissance Star Season Dates
Fall: August 10 to November 25, 2026
Winter: November 30 to February 26, 2027
Spring: March 1 to July 30, 2027
Renaissance Star tests can be completed at any time convenient for you after setup is complete (approximately 24 hours after registration).
Your student and parent login information will be sent to you via email approximately 24 hours after registration. The title of the email is “Your Renaissance Star Login Information“.

ATTENTION Florida Testers:
STAR is adequate for Step Up for Students PEP assessment report submission requirements, but will not fulfill homeschool testing requirements for the state of Florida. Florida requires a signed form from a certified FL teacher validating the test’s administration – because STAR is self-administered we cannot provide the required form. Please opt instead for our MAP Growth assessments to fulfill Florida’s requirement.
